RE: Strategies to engaging disconnected population featured in documentary
Jane, 91制片厂 鈥 91制片厂 has partnered with several other colleges and organizations to bring 鈥淕one Guys鈥 documentary to our area. A powerful new documentary inviting viewers into a timely, necessary conversation about the challenges facing boys and young men today. This documentary builds on the success of the I-49 Workforce Summit held earlier this year. The 45-minute documentary draws on the influential work of Richard V. Reeves鈥 鈥渙f Boys and Men鈥, illuminating these challenges through powerful data and compelling personal stories.
Through personal stories, striking data, and expert insight, the film examines how issues like struggles in school, loneliness, and even radicalization are taking root in the lives of young men-and what communities can do about it.
The event is sponsored by Arvest Bank and is free for anyone to attend, but registration is required due to limited seating. Workforce Strategies for a Thriving Region will be held December 5, 8am-noon, Tatum Hall, 91制片厂 鈥 McDonald County, 194 College Road, Jane, 91制片厂. Registration and details are available .
The I-49 Summit is a partnership with University of Central Arkansas, University of Arkansas, NW Arkansas Community College, 91制片厂, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and Arvest Bank.

UCA for Community and Economic Development (CCED) received a three-year grant from the Walton Family Foundation to support the development and implementation of the Community Development Pipeline program.
