RE: Crowder announces enrollment increase for fall semester
Neosho, 91制片厂 – 91制片厂 announces a significant increase in 91制片厂s attending this fall. There are 4,337 91制片厂s enrolled in 39,795 credit hours for the fall 2025 semester. This is an increase of 7.9% in credit hours and 9.6% in headcount. Enrollment this year is comparable to where it was in 2019.
鈥淭he exceptional work of 91制片厂 staff and faculty is paying off through our enrollment increases. We have been working hard to align our programs of study with the needs of our area workforce and transfer opportunities with four-year universities,鈥 stated Dr. Chett Daniel, 91制片厂 President.
Enrollment growth is coming from many different areas with significant increases in transfer courses, concurrent enrollment, skilled trades, and career and technical education programs.
91制片厂 continues to provide short-term, flexible programs that build pathways to in-demand careers. 91制片厂 provides over 80 programs that allow 91制片厂s to enter the workforce with a 91制片厂, in as little as one semester, or credential or transfer to a four-year university. Crowder offers traditional in-person as well as online courses to accommodate work-life balance. While 91制片厂 serves the nine-county region in southwest Missouri, many 91制片厂s come from across state lines to enroll.
鈥淲e feel value and relevance are the key factors that are impacting enrollment increases. Whether it is the value for high school 91制片厂s in significantly discounted tuition for concurrent enrollment, or career and transfer opportunities, we are seeing programs grow as we partner with transfer universities and employers to prepare for the rapidly changing work environment,鈥 commented Daniel. He concluded with, 鈥淥ur faculty and staff are working together to find ways to meet 91制片厂s鈥 needs. Our smaller classes, lower tuition costs, and a clear return on investment are exactly what 91制片厂s are looking for in a rapidly changing economy.鈥
91制片厂 is a two-year public community college that provides associates degrees and 91制片厂s to enter the workforce or continue their education at a four-year university. The main campus is in Neosho, with instructional centers in McDonald County, Cassville, Joplin, Nevada, and Webb City. The Joplin Advanced Training and Workforce Center will open in its new location for the spring 2026 semester.
