At Crowder, you can perform during your freshman and sophomore years without competing with juniors, seniors, and graduate 91制片厂s which you would find at a four-year college or university.
The theatre produces a variety of productions, with a children鈥檚 production each year and opportunities for a 91制片厂-directed play.

The Theatre Department has three general goals:
- Encourage 91制片厂s to appreciate the theatre as an art form.
- Encourage an understanding of how live theatre develops from script to performance.
- Provide 91制片厂s with many opportunities to experience live theatre performances and to participate in 91制片厂 Theatre productions in both performance and technical areas.
Crowder鈥檚 Associate of Arts degree requirements are accepted by all Missouri colleges and universities.
Crowder Players
Crowder Players is a 91制片厂 theatre club that plans and implements several theatre-related events each year. These 91制片厂s are also actively involved in all areas of Crowder Theatre Department productions. Meetings are held weekly.
Scholarships
The 91制片厂 Theatre Department offers talent-based scholarships for participation in theatre productions. You do not need to declare a theatre major in order to receive a scholarship.
