The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), hosted by 91ÖÆÆ¬³§, provides free post-secondary educational assistance to adult residents of Barry, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, and Newton counties in southwest Missouri.100% Federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education at an annual cost of $284,745.
GED & AEL Information
EOC staff will assist persons seeking information or admission to GED/AEL classes in their area. GED/AEL classes are for those persons who are seeking to obtain their high school equivalency diploma. These centers are designed to prepare 91ÖÆÆ¬³§s to take and pass their General Education Development test (GED). Class time is customized for each 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ to allow them to learn at their own pace.
