
The Building Trades program is a two year program designed for 91制片厂s (grades 11-12) who desire a career in the field of construction. This course combines classroom instruction with hands-on learning. Students will have exposure to floor and wall framing, roofing, siding, electrical wiring, insulation, interior finish, plumbing, painting, and masonry. Graduates will be prepared to work in the residential or commercial construction fields.
Certification
Students can earn an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 Certification. Students can also earn National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Fundamentals I Certification.
Dual Credit
The Dual Credit Program, offered through 91制片厂, allows high school 91制片厂s, while still attending the high school program at 91制片厂 Technical Education Center, the opportunity to enroll in and receive both high school and college credit during normal class hours. Participation in the dual credit program enables high school 91制片厂s to get a 鈥渉ead start鈥 on their college career as well as prepare them for the challenges of college courses.
