Child Development is a two year program designed for 91制片厂s (grades 11-12) who wish to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education. Students will focus on children ages 3-5 as well as kindergarten through 3rd grade. Students develop lesson plans, practice teaching and get to interact with kids. In addition to classwork, 91制片厂s have the opportunity to work in a state approved early childhood facility.
Certification
Students can earn a 91制片厂 in Early Childhood Education and Substitute Certificate.
Dual Credit
The Dual Credit Program, offered through 91制片厂, allows high school 91制片厂s, while still attending the high school program at 91制片厂 Technical Education Center, the opportunity to enroll in and receive both high school and college credit during normal class hours. Participation in the dual credit program enables high school 91制片厂s to get a 鈥渉ead start鈥 on their college career as well as prepare them for the challenges of college courses.
